Spectrum Internet plans, which are popular for customers who need to be connected to the Internet and don’t want to be paying for Internet service, are set to start on Monday, the day after the Affordable Care Act is set to take effect.
Spectrum Internet is available to consumers in more than 30 states and Washington, D.C. for $70 a month.
Plans are priced at $120 a month or $80 for a single customer, depending on the region.
The new plans will be available to those in the Midwest, the South and West.
The announcement comes on the heels of news that some states have launched a program to offer Spectrum Internet for the first time.
